How to Install Nomad IPTV on Android TV & Google TV
Android TV and Google TV devices — the Nvidia Shield, Chromecast with Google TV, Xiaomi Mi Box and smart TVs from Philips, Sony, TCL and Hisense — can install IPTV players straight from Google Play. That makes this one of the fastest Nomad IPTV setups of all: around five minutes from start to first channel.
Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Have your Nomad IPTV login ready
After payment you receive an email with your username, password and server URL (Xtream Codes login), plus an M3U link for apps that prefer a playlist. Keep it open on your phone while you set up.
Step 2: Open Google Play
From the home screen go to Apps → Google Play Store and sign in with your Google account if asked.
Step 3: Install your player
Search for TiviMate or IPTV Smarters and install it. Both are free to download.
Step 4: Log in with Xtream Codes
In TiviMate choose Add playlist → Xtream Codes; in Smarters choose "Login with Xtream Codes API". Enter the server URL, username and password from your Nomad IPTV email.
Step 5: Let the guide load
The EPG downloads automatically. Give it a minute, then open the TV guide to see what's on now and next across every channel.
Tips for Android TV
- Use Ethernet on boxes that have a port — it's the single biggest stability improvement you can make.
- Turn on "Match frame rate" in the player or system settings for smoother football and motorsport.
- In TiviMate, hide groups you don't use and set a default group so the app opens on your favourite channels.
